We crave connection.

Most of us show up to a church community with this desire. A desire to connect with God. And a desire to connect with others. It’s not always easy to cultivate connection, but it is worth it!

Discipleship groups are smaller pockets of community where you can join with others in this pursuit of God. We pray it is a space you will find connection.

Join a discipleship group with Nova as we explore life with God, together. There will be two different kinds of groups starting the week of February 4th. All groups will run through the week of May 5th. Please select the group location and meeting time below that you would like to join.

Exploring The Life of Jesus: This group will focus on getting to know who Jesus is, and learning from Jesus how to live like Jesus. Bring your questions and curiosity as we explore the Gospel of Mark together, following Jesus as he goes about his mission of renewal. Gain skills reading and studying Scripture, and learn to notice how God is speaking to your daily life.

(Nova Church) Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30PM

Exploring Spiritual Practices: Two groups will be focused on exploring spiritual practices that have grounded the Church for centuries, such as prayer, fasting, sabbath, silence and solitude, and scripture reading. Whether you’re new to these practices or they are already integral to your life, come ready to explore practices that help us notice and nurture the work of God in and around us. Group location and times are listed below. Please click on the group name you would like to join.

(Cap Hill) Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm
