Happy Birthday Nova!
Nova Turns 5!
This year, we celebrate five years of God’s faithfulness. We believe Jesus is present and at work here and now, in us, through us, and around us. Over these five years, we have seen hearts awakened, a community formed, and hope restored. This has happened not because of us, but because Christ is faithful. We have been invited to lay down performative ways of relating to God and to rest in God’s kindness and love. We have learned to notice our ordinary lives in God’s presence, seek wholeness in our stories, love our literal neighbors, and join in what God is already doing. Together, we participate in Christ’s renewing work and enjoy life with God while inviting others to do the same. Thank you, Jesus, for your generosity to us.
Join us for a gathering and Community Potluck Dinner celebration on Sunday, March 22 from 5-7pm.
Prayer Gathering (on Zoom)

This gathering will be held on Zoom. All are welcome!

Palm Sunday
Join us on Sunday, March 29 at 5pm to celebrate Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. The service will last approximately one hour.
Good Friday
Enter into the mystery and power of Jesus’ final hours on the cross. Connect with the meaning of Good Friday as we gather to worship and reflect on the weight of Jesus’s suffering and sacrifice. Nova Church will be hosting a traditional tenebrae service. Tenebrae is Latin for “darkness.” As we read the account of Jesus’s crucifixion and death, candles will be slowly extinguished until it is totally dark. Then we will leave in silence. Join us for this profound experience of worship on Friday, April 3 at 7:00PM.
Easter Sunday + Community Dinner
Easter means all things new!
What happened 2,000 years ago in a graveyard outside Jerusalem? Did a dead man really come back to life? And if so, what difference could that make to your life today? What would it mean for our world? At Nova Church we believe that Jesus rose from the dead on that first Easter morning. This moment changes everything! It means hope is alive and hope is here! Hope for renewal — in your life and in our world. Join us for Easter on Sunday, April 5 at 5pm, as we celebrate this hope of renewal God wants to give you through Jesus. Immediately following our worship gathering, we will host a Community Feast. All are invited and welcome to join.

"The Spirit is inviting people all around us. In a post-Christian culture, the idea of “sharing the gospel” seems intimidating — even offensive. But the Spirit in us seeks to draw near those who are far from God; and we embody his heart by inviting people to our table, listening deeply, and testifying simply to the good news of Jesus." -Practicing the Way
This group will meet every week beginning Thursday, April 16 at 6:30pm (in the Nova Fireside Room). For more information on course materials, please click here.
