Slow Down This Summer.

Borrowing the idea of a “Summer Slow Down” from the folks at Practicing the Way, this summer we want to embrace the invitation of Jesus to slow down. To live at the unforced rhythms of grace. To become more attentive to the Holy Spirit. To rest. To worship. To play. To connect.

In a world that constantly pushes us to do more and move faster, Jesus offers a better way. This series is an invitation to create space for what matters most and to rediscover the joy of being with God and with one another.

Love has its speed. It is a spiritual speed. It is a different kind of speed from the technological speed to which we are accustomed. It goes on in the depth of our life, whether we notice or not, at three miles an hour. It is the speed we walk and therefore the speed the love of God walks.
