Meet Our Pastors

Katie Fowler

An ordained pastor since 2011, Katie is originally from the southeast and graduated with a business degree from the University of Florida. (Go Gators!) Katie earned her Master of Divinity (a graduate-level degree in theology) from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Katie loves baseball (go Braves! Go Dodgers!), hanging out at the Botanic gardens, birthday celebrations, quoting Eugene Peterson, and preaching!

Chuck Fowler

Chuck has been an ordained pastor since 2016. Born and raised in Colorado, Chuck went to college in Oklahoma. Chuck also graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary. 

Chuck loves all things sci-fi and fantasy (go inklings!). He is also a writer. 

Chuck and Katie have been married for over 10 years and have three little boys. 

An Egalitarian Church 

At Nova women and men serve and lead together. We believe that Jesus is redeeming everything, and this includes the relationships between men and women. While the curse of sin introduced hierarchy and enmity between men and women, Jesus comes to make his blessings flow far as the curse is found.

Katie and Chuck are co-pastors of Nova. Our leadership community is a team made up of women and men.
